Therapeutic Benefits
The DURO rehab buggy is a sturdy alternative to the Bingo Evolution. It stands out for its robust frame construction, extensive range of accessories, and exceptional adaptability as the child grows. Two different sizes are available.
The DURO comes standard with individual backrest angle adjustment and a continuously adjustable footrest holder, but without the seat tilt function, which distinguishes its medical applicability from that of the BINGO Evolution.
For a minimal folded size, the backrest can be removed with a simple hand movement.
The seat angle can be preset to either 16° or 20°, allowing for a focus on more active or passive sitting, depending on the user’s needs. For further adjustment options, the backrest can also be quickly adjusted to an angle between 90° and 120° using a locking pin system. This allows for a comfortable and stable resting position and an opening of the hip angle. Especially for children with leg extensor spasticity, this is an important therapeutic approach to further support the goals being worked toward. Additionally, the potential regulation of muscle tone and stimulation of the autonomic nervous system should be noted here.
Depending on the specific needs, the adjusted seating position can be supported using the same range of accessories as with the BINGO Evolution. This ensures maximum additional trunk stability and, by being optimally adapted to the child’s needs, helps achieve the therapeutic goal.
